We start with randomness and find structure in the world of very uncertain walks. The normal distribution appears and we see it's a potent example of the sum being different from the parts. We set up the problem of first return, find a remarkably power law size distribution, pay homage to great thinkers, and also consider random walkers on networks. Bonus: We find the best neckties from random walks on hexagonal lattices and provide and in class demonstration.
