Summary:
We complete our investigation of optimal supply networks with (1) a more general treatment of the problem with calculus of variations goodness, (2) consideration of how to redistribute stuff based on distance traveled and number of legs, (3) one last generalization to handle public and private institutions. And then we open up the big box of random networks, remembering what's obviously inside and what's really inside. Prelude: the most and least random numbers according to humans (who are most confused about it all).
