Note Set 02c: Saving the day, Ghostbusters style, for $\mathbf{A}\vec{x}=\vec{b}$ when a pivot is missing.

We examine how $\mathbf{A}\vec{x}=\vec{b}$ may have 0 or infinitely many solutions when a pivot is missing (that is, 0). We consider 2x2 examples but the basic ideas generalize to all system sizes. Deeper ways of understanding solutions will come later as we unwrap the gift that is $\mathbf{A}\vec{x}=\vec{b}$.
